Cherry Project

Built in 1865, this three-story brick second empire style brownstone was in dire need of a complete over haul. The buildings antiquated plumbing and electrical systems, broken windows, sagging ceiling, cracked walls and tired kitchen and bath needed to be replaced. Again, a project seeming the “old” elements with that of the “new” meeting modern day needs and desires. This included restoring the original details of the home including marble mantels, mahogany pocket doors, ceiling medallions, ornate woodwork and a beautiful main staircase.

The unfinished basement was converted into living space, combining the ground and first floors into a two-bedroom condo. The top two floors were created into a separate home. A third story addition provided space for an oversized luxury bathroom. A roof deck was also created providing outside living space with exceptional views.
